NGK is recognized by General Motors for the 10th consecutive year

Company accumulates 10 stars in the Supplier Quality Excellence Award,
that elects the automaker's high-performance suppliers

Japanese multinational is the only manufacturer to receive the recognition
for 10 years in a row, since the first edition of the award

Sao Paulo, June 2022 – For the 10th consecutive year, NGK, the world leader in the spark plug segment, won the award Supplier Quality Excellence Award (Award for Excellence in Supplier Quality), which is given by General Motors to its best suppliers. With the highest score – a total of 10 stars – NGK stands out as the only manufacturer to receive the award in every edition held since 2012.

NGK is a leading multinational in the global supply of spark plugs and one of the main suppliers of General Motors in Brazil. In more than 60 years of operation in the country, the company has produced more than 2.5 billion spark plugs and more than 310 million ignition cables, in addition to marketing ignition coils and glow plugs under the NGK brand and oxygen sensors under the NTK brand.
