São Paulo, July 2022 - A NGK, global leader in the spark plug market, completes 63 years of national operation on August 1st. Among the projects aimed at the sustainability of operations is the solar energy system implemented in 2021 by the factory, which already owns the largest photovoltaic system in the Alto Tietê region. Average, NGK generates 150 MWh/month, which yields a 7% saving in consumption. For 2022, The plan is to expand the photovoltaic system to increase generation capacity by 36%.
