Ignition Cables

The ignition cables are responsible for conducting the high voltage from the coils to the voltages.they. The most modern engines require special features such as resistance to high temperatures and greater noise suppression. NGK has the most complete line of ignition cables meeting the strictest criteria of durability and performance.

Cables can be of two types:

SC – The cable is produced with a nickel-chromium resistive wire, which in addition to allowing high durability by preventing oxidation, has a resistance of 7.5KΩ per meter.

ST- The terminals of this cable are resistive, having a nickel-chromium wire resistance, where the spark plug terminal has a resistance of 5.0KΩ and the coil side has a resistance of 1.0KΩ.
