São Paulo, June 2022 - A NGK, Japanese multinational ignition systems specialist, was elected by mechanics from several Brazilian states as the best known and most frequently purchased brand in the spark plug and ignition cable segments. The recognition of professionals is the result of the sixth edition of the survey “The Preferred Brands of Mechanics”, recently announced by the publication O Mecânico in conjunction with the Instituto Inteligência em Pesquisa e Consultoria (IPEC).

In solid growth in the market, NGK ignition coils occupied, yet, the runner-up among the best-known and most frequently purchased brands. Furthermore, NTK in as sondas lambda, belonging to the same group, reached the first position among the most frequently purchased. In the overall ranking of the study, que engloba 47 categorias de peças, tools and equipment, NGK also appears as the third brand that mechanics most like on the market.
