NGK CEO visits Brazil and reinforces the company's commitment to the country

On an official visit to Brazil, the CEO and global president of NGK, Shinichi Odo, met this Tuesday (10) with the mayor of Mogi das Cruzes, Marco Aurélio Bertaiolli. At the meeting, The executive spoke of the strategic importance of the country for NGK's business and reinforced that the company will continue to invest in technological development and in the production of spark plugs, cabos, Technical ceramics and porcelain coatings, that place NGK in a prominent position in the national market.

The CEO also fulfilled an intense schedule of commitments in the country. In addition to factory visits, who turned 55 in August, and the company's commercial office, met the new showroom Super NGK tablet, in the Tatuapé neighborhood, in Sao Paulo. The executive also closed his visit to the capital of São Paulo with a tribute received at the Legislative Assembly, at the initiative of State Deputy Luiz Carlos Gondim Teixeira.

Shinichi Odo joined NGK in 1977 and worked in various areas of the company, such as Aftermarket Sales, until he assumed the presidency of the United States unit, in 2005. At 57 years old, in 2011, the executive was elevated to the position of CEO and global president of NGK.
