Sensores MAP

Its function is to indicate the absolute pressure in the intake manifold. Some types of more modern sensors also have the function of indicating the air temperature. This pressure is lower than the atmospheric due to the displacement of the piston at the time of air intake. When the engine is off, it indicates the local atmospheric pressure, telling the system what altitude the vehicle is at.
