NGK wins AutoData Award "Best in the Automotive Industry"

A NGK, Ignition System Specialist Is Among the Finalists for the 2019 AutoData Best in the Automotive Awards in the Parts Supplier categories, Parts and Components, and Quality and Partnership. The awards ceremony for this first stage of the award was held last Tuesday (23), in Sao Paulo (SP). In its 20th edition, the main business recognition of the Brazilian automotive sector was voted by the team of journalists who make up the editorial board of AutoData Editora. Total no, 41 companies were selected and compete in 18 different categories. "It is an honor to receive this recognition., just, in the year that NGK completes 60 years in Brazil. Winning this award, which is extremely important in the national automotive sector, is a reflection of the quality of our products, manufactured at the Mogi das Cruzes plant, indeed, the first factory outside of Japan. The already high level of excellence of the company's products directly impacts the reliability and satisfaction of our customers and partners", says Celio Takata, Director of Automotive Sales at NGK do Brasil. NGK's achievement in the Parts Supplier category, Parts and Components was motivated by the modernization and expansion of its manufacturing capacity through the investment of R$ 210 million, to be completed by 2020. In the automotive segment, NGK produces spark plugs and ignition cables nationally, in addition to offering aftermarket ignition coils and oxygen and detonation sensors, NTK branded. Regularity and constant presence in several awards in the automotive sector, in its turn, earned the company recognition in the Quality and Partnership category. A NGK, once again, was one of the first placed in the AutoData Ranking for Quality and Partnership this year and has been a consecutive presence since the creation of the award.
