The glow plugs have the function of heating the air in the combustion chamber or in the pre-chamber, providing a better condition for the ignition of the injected fuel and, consequently, facilitating the start of diesel engines on colder days and preventing malfunctions. The component also enables the reduction of pollutant and smoke emissions, that occur when the engine does not reach an ideal working temperature.
