Close to the celebrations of 55 years of operation in Brazil, and NGK, leading candle maker, ignition cables and oxygen sensors of the world, received Qualitas 5 Stars for the 12th consecutive time. This is Fiat's most important award, delivered only to suppliers that win the Qualitas Awards for five consecutive years.
In its 25th edition, the Qualitas Awards evaluated Fiat-Chrysler Group suppliers in Latin America, throughout 2013, in terms of quality, innovation, competitiveness and service level. Recognition is divided into six categories: Metálicos &; Powertrain, Chemical, Electric, Indirect Materials, Logistics and Mopar, brand that represents the parts division, Fiat Chrysler Group accessories and services.
A NGK do Brasil, which since 1979 has equipped most Fiat models with spark plugs, suppressive ignition cables and oxygen and detonation sensors and received the award throughout most editions of Qualitas, as best supplier in the category Electric, in addition to being awarded, this year, a category Mopar.
